In the workshop "Making a personal doll" we will learn to make a doll from a unique raw material: the Tyvek ( Tyvek )- This is a durable synthetic fabric that is very hard to tear but easy to cut, lightweight and waterproof.
The purpose of the workshop is to teach the participants how to develop an idea from a raw stage to its creation into a final product. In the workshop we will work according to the following steps:
- Let's start by making a colored sketch of the doll on paper
- Copying the sketch to the tape cloth
- Cutting out the doll parts
- Threading a needle
- Sewing the trim pieces
- Inserting filling into the doll
- Choosing design elements and decorations and finishing the doll
*Each and every participant in the workshop will leave at the end of the meeting with a special and one-of-a-kind doll that they will take home
